This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every ZFHosts service and is part of our Terms of Service.
Prohibited uses
ZFHosts services may not be used for:
- Distribution of malware, spyware, or malicious code
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam), or sending bulk email without verifiable recipient opt-in
- Hosting content that is illegal under applicable law
- Phishing, fraud, or impersonation of others
- Network attacks including DDoS, port scanning, or unauthorized access attempts
- Cryptocurrency mining without prior written approval from ZFHosts
- Any activity that degrades service quality or availability for other ZFHosts customers
Email sending
Shared hosting plans may send transactional and low-volume email through SMTP. Bulk mailing campaigns require a dedicated email service; accounts generating spam complaints or unusual outbound mail volume may have mail sending suspended while we investigate.
Copyright and DMCA
We respond to copyright infringement notices that comply with the DMCA. To submit a notice or counter-notice, use our contact page and include the information the DMCA requires (identification of the work, the infringing material’s location, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your signature). We may remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse originating from a ZFHosts-hosted service — spam, phishing, malware, or attacks — contact us with the relevant logs, URLs, or message headers. We investigate every report.
Enforcement
Accounts found in violation of this policy may be suspended immediately. In cases where excessive resource usage is the issue rather than a policy violation, ZFHosts may instead move the account to an appropriate higher tier plan to reflect actual usage. We cooperate with law enforcement requests as required by law.
